§ 12.28.070. Special events—Rules, regulations and fees generally.
All rules, regulations and policies regarding special event permitting shall be established by the parks and recreation division, with advisement from the Park Board, and are subject to approval by the City Commission and City Manager. The establishment or revision of appropriate fees associated with special events permitting must receive approval of the City Commission by resolution as developed by City staff with advisement from the Park Board. It is unlawful for a special event, as defined in Section 12.28.010 to be held without a permit. Events in violation are subject to disbanding by law enforcement officials.
