§ 2.08.040. Officers generally—Oath.

  • Every officer of the City, whether elected or appointed, shall, before entering upon the duties of his or her office, take and prescribe an oath that he or she will well and truly perform the duties of his or her office to the best of his or her skill and ability and that he or she will support the Constitution of the United States and the laws of the State. Such oath shall be in the form prescribed by law.
