§ 5.28.050. Permit—Appeal from refusal—Hearing.

  • Any applicant refused a permit may, within ten (10) days of receiving notice of such refusal, request a hearing before the City Commission on the question of whether a permit should be issued. The request should be made in writing to the City Clerk. Upon receiving such a request, the Clerk shall schedule the hearing on a date between ten (10) and thirty (30) days from the date of receiving the hearing request and shall notify all parties involved of the time, date and place of the hearing, If, after the hearing, the Commission finds a permit should be issued, the Director of Public Works shall issue a permit.
