§ 2.16.070. Complaint and warrant prerequisite to trial.

  • The Municipal Judge, before proceeding to try any person for the violation of any provision of this code or other ordinance of the City, shall cause a complaint to be made and warrant to be issued to arrest such person and return to be made on such warrant, except in those arrests as prescribed by law which do not require a warrant and those cases in which persons appear pursuant to citation or complaint and summons.
